Easily integrate LinkedIn to your blog and your blog into LinkedIn

Many small business owners and sales professionals have realized the benefits of using LinkedIn to promote their services. Most of my clients who use WordPress have asked me to integrate their WordPress blog with their LinkedIn profile. So far I have found a couple of interesting tools that make this easy to do.
First of all Install the WordPress Application on LinkedIn. This will pull all your recent blog posts into your profile page on LinkedIn.
Second, download and install the GD LinkedIn Badge plugin for WordPress. Once it is active, add a widget to your blog’s sidebar. Make sure you configure your options and double check that the profile link is correct.
You may also want to change your public profile address from the default, which looks like http://www.linkedin.com/pub/6/5aa/117 to something more like http://www.linkedin.com/in/russellfair

LinkedIn’s CEO is founder Reid Hoffman. Dan Nye resigned on December 18, 2008 after less than two years at the helm. Hoffman, previously an executive vice president of PayPal, also remains Chairman of the Board.

I never heard of this before until now. That is so great you have these features and I will definitely have to try them. I really like using LinkedIn and I find this feature amazing.

Anybody know how to use the Linked In API to integrate LI to your web site fully? I mean not necessarily as a WordPress plug in, but as a tool to display status updates on your own web site?
